Banda Renegados
e Marcelo Pinheiro: RENEGADOS
A banda tem influência direta das épocas áureas do rock n´roll (anos 50, 60 e 70), com as características da pulsação, criatividade e energia das artes naquele período. Destaca-se nas composições a reverberação da música de várias partes do mundo, especialmente da música brasileira e principalmente nordestina.
Desde o início de sua trajetória, quando surgiram as primeiras apresentações da banda Renegados, vem sendo possível localizar em sua produção elementos dessas influências, sem precisar “forçar” a aglutinação. É a cultura musical e poética manifestada pelo povo nordestino e associada a pulsação vibrante da linguagem universal do rock n´roll.
Somado à linguagem musical adotada, sempre na linha rock n´roll, as letras criadas pelos Renegados são marcadas por temas otimistas que sugerem reflexão acerca do mundo moderno e das atitudes às vezes pouco inteligentes do homem (moderno?) que habita o planeta. Sociedade do consumo, meio ambiente, luta-perseverança, amor, viagem-estrada, são motes e imagens poéticas tomadas como eixos para a abordagem das composições.
Junto com o repertório autoral, a banda Renegados faz uma viagem pelo universo musical de suas referências: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Carlos Santana; também Raul Seixas e Luiz Gonzaga, afinal esses dois últimos são mestres da música nordestina que sempre influenciou o grupo. Identificar a “linguagem rock” na obra de Luiz Gonzaga é uma forma de unir as artes em torno da essência maior que justifica criar, buscando a Verdade e o olhar de cada criador frente ao mundo.
A banda Renegados pulsa um som atual e com sabor de classic rock.
