os bonecos "sensação" do Circo Tupiniquim

O Circo Tupiniquim vem desempenhando relevante trabalho na arte do teatro. Desde 1985, Omar Rocha e sua trupe vêm apresentando ininterruptamente espetáculos para adultos e crianças, levando sempre uma mensagem educativa e divertida.

Nesses 23 anos, destacam-se trabalhos de capacitação, formação e organização do movimento artístico. Tanto como formador de platéias quanto como formador de opinião, o Circo Tupiniquim preocupa-se imensamente com a proposta estética nos espetáculos. Estão sempre pesquisando para afinar suas referências.

À medida que mergulham num mundo lúdico e maravilhoso das raízes culturais nordestinas, tornam-se mais universais. Compreendem sua arte como um instrumento de discussão e transformação do homem em busca do exercício pleno de sua cidadania, devendo estar presente nas mais diversas manifestações do processo de construção de uma sociedade justa e digna.

Nos espetáculos destinados ao público infantil, o Circo Tupiniquim procura trabalhar sua imaginação e fantasia, desencadeando um processo de formação da consciência crítica, ao mesmo tempo em que incentiva nas crianças o afloramento de sua sensibilidade artística. Nas montagens direcionados aos adultos, buscam de forma lúdica e criativa despertar de uma visão crítica quanto à realidade e a sua cotidianidade.

Além da montagem de espetáculos, destaca-se o consolidado trabalho na televisão. Criador do primeiro programa infantil com bonecos da TV nordestina ( “TV Tupiniquim”, na TV Diário, segunda à sexta, às 8h) e responsável pelo núcleo de bonecos do programa humorístico de sátira policial “Nas Garras da Patrulha” (TV Diário, segunda à sábado, às 17h50, 14h e 5h).

O grupo tem se dedicado também à realização de oficinas técnicas, visando a capacitação de atores e não atores, como proposta de qualificar interessados em atuar nos movimentos artísticos e fortalecer as entidades de classe.
